OUR PRODUCTION OF POCKET AND HINGED DOOR FRAMES

Since its beginning, ECLISSE has been and remains dedicated to advancing the design of the sliding door systems. The sliding door frame was not considered to be a simple structure for holding a door, but rather a complex system which must above all communicate with the surrounding structure in which it is fitted. This realisation led to the development of a range of specific sliding pocket door systems for solid and stud walls. The solid wall versions are immensely strong, and serve as more than a simple replacement for brickwork. They are capable of forming an integral part of the structure. On the other hand, versions for stud wall have an open, lightweight but solid structure which can be perfectly incorporated in the studwork.

Our approach to developing frames for hinged doors is totally unique: a single universal construction designed for use with all wall types. With one eye permanently fixed on technology and the other on design, ECLISSE adopted an approach for developing solutions that could fit a range of different styles. Departing from the original, rather traditional solutions with profiles designed to support jambs and architraves, flush sliding pocket door systems and hinged

door frames were introduced which dispense with the need for exterior mouldings.

ECLISSE reinvented the concept of the frame, expanding it beyond the wall and rethinking its shape, exploring new surfaces and finishing materials, transforming a structural component into a true design element.
